Bamford Fraser Ltd was established in 1996 by Rupert Bamford & Scott Fraser. The company has grown largely due to reputation and we are keen to maintain a personal level of supervision and quality control in all our work.

Rupert
Rupert is the co-owner and day to day manager of the business and enjoys meeting varied clients to discuss their requirements and offers help and advice during site visits all year round.
Rupert is a Certified Arborist under The International Society of Arboriculture’s scheme, covering all aspects of professional tree care and is committed to continuing professional development. He recently studied at Guildford College towards the Arb Association’s Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture.
Rupert is pleased to run the business as an approved trader under East Sussex Councils Buy with Confidence Scheme and welcomes feedback from customers! He also enjoys helping work experience arb and forestry students from Plumpton College who come to learn about the realities of a busy and successful business.
Scott
Scott has a unique mix of practical experience in arboriculture, gained over 18 years and a strong academic background that has run in parallel.

Lantra Awards is a subsidiary of Lantra Sector Skills Council for the Land Based Industries.
Rigorous approval and on-going assessment ensure that a consistently high standard of both technical knowledge and instructional style is achieved. Lantra Awards also have an excellent set of course workbooks that are available with most popular courses.
- NPTC Approved Assessor
National Proficiency Test Council is the awarding body for a suite of qualifications at NVQ levels two and three aimed at the tree work industry. Nationally recognised and well respected qualifications that have been exported to Spain and South Africa.
